The Adelaide Convention Centre opened its doors in 1987 and is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre and nestled within the beauty of the Riverbank Precinct, surrounded by parklands and the River Torrens.

What are the opening hours?
The Box Office will open from 10am daily with the first session commencing at 10am Monday to Sunday. Exhibition entry normally closes at 4pm, but closing times may vary so please check Ticketek for open hours information and any updates to sessions.

If you are driving to the Centre, they offer two undercover car parking options with the North Terrace and the Riverbank car parks. Both are located directly under the Centre and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Clearance is 2.0 metres and automated payment stations accept credit/debit cards (1.5% surcharge applicable). Both car parks are fitted with video surveillance camera systems and security patrols these areas. See more on their website

What are the transport options?
Three main taxi companies operate in the Adelaide metropolitan area and can be booked for pick up or drop off from the North Terrace and Morphett Street Bridge entrances.

The historic Adelaide Railway Station is located a two-minute walk from the Adelaide Convention Centre, and a Tram stop is just in front of the Railway Station.

The free City Connector bus is an easy way of navigating around Adelaide.

Adelaide is great to tour by bike as well, including City of Adelaide’s Free Bikes.

Session times – how long can we stay in session?
We recommend 60-90 minutes to experience the exhibition however you’re welcome to stay, admire and play for as long as you’d like.

Can you buy tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets will be available however we strongly encourage you to buy tickets before you arrive so ensure you can secure tickets for your preferred session time. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for all sessions at the door.


Are we able to take photographs?
Most definitely, although we would ask for no commercial photography.

Will Ryan be at the event?
Unfortunately Ryan’s busy schedule means he will unlikely to be at the show beyond a few sponsor events.

I purchased tickets online – do I need a copy of the paper ticket to gain entry?
Please have a version of your e ticket on your phone or a hardcopy on arrival.

From what age will children be charged for entry?
4 and above.

If I buy a family pass can it be used for 1 adult and 3 children?

Do senior cards qualify for discounts?
Yes. Seniors are admitted at Concession prices

Do you accept companion cards?
Yes we do

What is the age limit for children’s tickets?
16 and under. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult within the exhibition.

Is food and drinks allowed?
Food and drink are not allowed in the exhibition.

Is there an area to leave personal belongings?
Unfortunately not.

Are there ATM’s nearby?
There are several ATMs situated nearby in the city.

Is there wheelchair and pram access?
The Adelaide Convention Centre provides a range of accessibility options and facilities. All car parks and buildings are wheelchair accessible.
