The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is Australia’s largest regional convention centre. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre’s car park entrance is at the northern end of the building, accessible from traffic lights off the Gold Coast Highway and the main driveway off TE Peters Drive. Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking. A $10 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for car parking at the centre. See more on the Centre website.

What are the transport options?

When traveling southbound from Brisbane (78km) take the Broadbeach Motorway Exit and follow the directions to Broadbeach. Just after the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre turn left at the next set of lights. This will bring you out onto the Gold Coast Highway. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is situated on the corner of the next street, just after The Star Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast is 900km north of Sydney and is accessible by either the Pacific Highway or the inland New England Highway. There are a wide range of coach / bus transfers, taxi and hire car services available from the airports. Stretch and sedan limosines are also an affordable option.

Local bus, coach, taxi and limousine companies operate regular services to all major attractions, hotel and shopping centres.

The new lightrail system ‘The G’ also runs along the Gold Coast highway from Broadbeach to Griffith University in Southport

To get to and from the Brisbane Airport, the closest train station is called Nerang. It is about 15 minutes by taxi or you can also catch a Surfside bus.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast Highway. There are also taxi and limousine ranks at the main entrance.

You can also access the rail line to Brisbane via a bus from The Star Gold Coast.

What is the price for tickets?

Session times – how long can we stay in session?
You can stay for up to 90 minutes inside the exhibition.

Can you buy tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets will be available however we strongly encourage you to buy tickets before you arrive so ensure you can secure tickets for your preferred session time. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for all sessions at the door.


Are we able to take photographs?
Most definitely, although we would ask for no commercial photography.

Will Ryan be at the event?
Unfortunately due to his busy schedule, Ryan will only be in Gold Coast on 26th June. Tickets don’t guarantee you’ll see Ryan, but he will do his best to talk to fans when he is there.

I purchased tickets online – do I need a copy of the paper ticket to gain entry?
Please have a version of your e ticket on your phone or a hardcopy on arrival.

From what age will children be charged for entry?
4 and above.

If i buy a family pass can it be used for 1 adult and 3 children?

Do senior cards qualify for discounts?

Are companion card holders admitted free?

What is the age limit for children’s tickets?
16 and under. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult within the exhibition.

Is food and drinks allowed?
Food and Drink is not allowed into the Exhibition.

Is there an area to leave personal belongings?
Not inside the venue sorry!

Are there ATM’s nearby?
An ATM is located in the foyer of the Centre.

Is there wheelchair and pram access?

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is designed to ensure all guests have equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the Centre’s services and facilities.

Wheelchair and pram access is available to all areas of the building, including lift access from the car park where ample disability parking bays are located beside the elevator on the first basement level. Specially designed bathrooms are also located on all levels.

Wheelchair hire is readily available through the Centre.
