Distirct Docklands is easily accessible by car, bus and bike, and part of the Free Tram Zone. It is located right next to the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, O’Brien Group Arena and Costco, plus parking is only $10 for up to 6 hours.

What are the opening hours?

Box office opens at 9am and closes at 4pm daily. First sessions start at 9:30am
Closing times vary- check your preferred day on the Ticketek website

Parking?

There are  2 carparks- an East carpark and a West carpark. Both are secure, multi-level undercover parking with multiple auto-pay options for customers. The East Carpark is located at 90 Waterfront Way, Docklands. The West Carpark is located at 88 Pearl River Road, Docklands. See more info and pricing on the Centre website here.

What are the transport options?

District Docklands is conveniently located only five minutes from the CBD of Melbourne at the Docklands.

FREE TRAM
The City Circle free tram stops right outside District Docklands, Docklands Drive.
Take Tram 70 (via Flinders Street) OR Tram 86 (Via Bourke Street) to the District Docklands tram stop.

BUS

Bus Link’s route 220 will also drop you at District Dockland’s doorstep. (Stop 6 – Footscray Road)
Buses run every 15 minutes, seven days a week. Visit www.ptv.vic.gov.au for timetable information.

TRAIN
Take the train to Southern Cross Station and walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to Harbour Town Esplanade, then along Docklands Drive or the waterfront to District Docklands.

What is the price for tickets?

Tickets start from just $15. Visit Ticketek for all ticket price details.

Session times – how long can we stay in session?
It takes up to 90 minutes to view the exhibition.

Can you buy tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets will be available however we strongly encourage you to buy tickets before you arrive so ensure you can secure tickets for your preferred session time. We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available for all sessions at the door. Cash not accepted. Card only

 

Are we able to take photographs?
Most definitely, although we would ask for no commercial photography.

Will Ryan be at the event?
Unfortunately due to his busy schedule, at this point Ryan won’t be able to attend the exhibition. If this changes we’ll announce any opportunities to meet Ryan on our social media.

I purchased tickets online – do I need a copy of the paper ticket to gain entry?
Please have a version of your e ticket on your phone or a hardcopy on arrival.

From what age will children be charged for entry?
4 and above.

If i buy a family pass can it be used for 1 adult and 3 children?
Yes.

Do senior cards qualify for discounts?
Yes.

Are companion card holders admitted free?
Yes.

What is the age limit for children’s tickets?
16 and under. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult within the exhibition.

Is food and drinks allowed?
Food and Drink is not allowed into the Exhibition.

Is there an area to leave personal belongings?
Not inside the venue sorry!

Are there ATM’s nearby?
ATM’s available on ground floor of Centre, please refer to the Electronic Directory for directions.

Is there wheelchair and pram access?

District Docklands is fully wheelchair accessible with lifts located at both the entrance and exit to the exhibition
