Large Models lego projects
Throwback Thursday: LEGO Acropolis now in Athens!
Back in 2013 Ryan built a LEGO model of Athen’s famed Acropolis temple complex and the iconic columned Parthenon. The huge diorama was built as part of a series of models (the first being the Colosseum) built around ancient history for Sydney University’s Nicholson Museum. The Nicholson Museum then donated the model to the Acropolis […]

Australia’s tallest LEGO model, Ryan’s massive 6 metre tall Saturn V Rocket and Launch tower, has just been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records- Blockbuster edition for 2017! We thought this was a great reason to look back at the Rocket model itself, which was built way back in 2012, and first displayed […]

You can see the old building well in this shot. The old AMP Building was […]

Towers of Tomorrow Townsville
I’m back in sunny Townsville for the weekend! This time I’m with the Towers of Tomorrow exhibition me and my team built a few years ago, which includes some of the toughest models I’ve ever built of the many of the world’s tallest buildings! The exhibit also includes hundreds of thousands of bricks visitors can use to build their own model. So if you’re in North Queensland or heading there over the next few months, drop by and check them out!
Clay Moorington
Here is the giant Clay Moorington from LEGO NEXO Knights which we made for the LEGO booth at toyfair.
The funny part is he was built by Clay Mellington – pictured
Coincidence? Likeness? You be the judge. – Just remember our Clay Mellington came first.
If you want to check him out he will be at Fountain gate shopping centre in Melbourne April 9 and 10 for the free LEGO Nexo knights event.
Star Wars – The Force Awakens
Last month we, along with the LEGO US model shop and 3 other LEGO Certified Professionals from around the world had the privilege of building models for the Star Wars movie premiere. Our models were for the Shanghai red carpet, whilst my Mandarin is poor, by all accounts people were very happy with them!
