Small Models lego projects
A few months ago LEGO sent us through a particularly awesome job- to make lots of LEGO® brick balls for the boys from How Ridiculous to throw off their tower! All together we made 10 models, including 7 bowling balls, 1 basketball, 1 watermelon and a mammoth 30kg solid LEGO® ball! We made 2 of […]
LEGO® Masters Australia is now on Channel Nine! After topping the ratings for it’s first week, needless to say, we’re pretty excited! The show stars Hamish Blake as the host and our own Ryan “Brickman” McNaught as the judge who bears the weighty responsibility of choosing the winning teams each week and ultimately the winners […]
After a massive tour around Australia we’ve brought our second touring LEGO exhibition, Wonders of the World, across the Tasman to New Zealand! We had a huge run at the amazing Museum of New Zealand Te Papa in Wellington where 100,000 people saw the show and now we’re heading north to Hamilton, then Auckland. We’re […]
Our original interactive Brickman Experience exhibition is back home in Melbourne these school holidays at Harbour Town Melbourne for the final time in Australia! Before we take the show overseas we wanted to farewell Australia back in our home town of Melbourne, so we brought it back, with a few new models that weren’t built […]
For this Throwback Thursday we’re focusing not so much on some Banana models we built as what happened to them- they were stolen! Back in 2015 we were invited to display as part of Townsville’s Strand Ephemera festival, where sculptures from local and international artists are displayed along the Townsville beachfront around the trees. We […]
For this week’s Throwback Thursday we’re looking at a very different type of model – a model Ryan had to build live! Ryan was exhibiting a few of his big models at the Brisbane Ekka show in 2012 and they wanted Ryan to build something while he was there, so he chose to build a […]
Our Wonders of the World exhibition is returning next school holidays! And after the recent Oscars’s stuff ups we couldn’t resist having a bit of fun with the reveal of our next location. Tickets go on sale this Friday 3rd March. Watch the reveal here:
Just in time for Christmas here I am showing you how to make a round ball from square and rectangular LEGO® bricks as well as a neat trick for turning your new LEGO sphere into a decoration for your Christmas tree!
Down at the Brickman HQ, for years we have been saying we would love an office pet.
One we could love, look after, be a companion with and generally have fun playing with.
However nobody liked the idea of having to feed and do all the looking after business!
So we compromised! and ended up with “Brutus”, be careful though his fangs are razor sharp!
For the first time ever you are welcome to come along and experience my complete collection of LEGO models, along with those of my colleagues the other LEGO Certified professionals who have each created a unique piece for the show.
Come and join in the fun as there is plenty of hands on activities where ill be getting you to help build some giant LEGO models and masterpieces.
Ive got a stack of new stuff never seen in public before so for your only chance to see them come along!
