TV lego projects
Our resident motorcycle rider builder KC surprised us by deciding to NOT build a motorcycle for Brickvention 2020! He decided instead to create a “life-size” version of his favourite Looney Tunes character, and fellow Tasmanian, Taz Devil. Not only that, he also decided to build the model as a self-portrait. KC created the model from […]
LEGO Masters Australia is back! This season is so much bigger, brighter and crazier than last year. We can’t wait to share it with Australia again! Here’s your first sneak peek at the brick-built AWESOMENESS that’s coming soon to channel 9:
Thanks to LEGO Masters Australia we can now announce that we’re bringing our new LEGO® experience, Brickman Cities, home to Melbourne’s Scienceworks from 15th June! Brickman Cities focuses on some of the world’s greatest cities – Dubai, London, New York, Sydney and Tokyo – with Brickman’s trademark cut-away detailed models representing three massive skyscrapers from each […]
LEGO® Masters Australia is now on Channel Nine! After topping the ratings for it’s first week, needless to say, we’re pretty excited! The show stars Hamish Blake as the host and our own Ryan “Brickman” McNaught as the judge who bears the weighty responsibility of choosing the winning teams each week and ultimately the winners […]
After the mammoth effort it took to build our last life-size car from LEGO® bricks we said that we’d never do it again. But when Honda Australia asked us to build their new flagship Civic, with full Type-R extras, we just couldn’t say no! We mean- just look at this thing: Being our second life-size […]
Our very own Brickman, Ryan McNaught, is coming to TV! Ryan will be the LEGO® judge for the new Australian version of reality TV show LEGO® Masters Australia along side host Hamish Blake. The show pits 8 teams of 2 LEGO® loving builders against each other to win a $100,000! Knowing what some of the […]
For this week’s Throwback Thursday we’re going back to one of Ryan’s biggest and most enduring models: The LEGO brick Love Boat! Built back in 2010, the Love Boat was actually built from the same bricks Ryan used in his first big model, the A-380 and came about when Ryan tried to think of a […]
Check out the timelapse video of the life-size LEGO® TARDIS we built last year that appeared on Bondi Beach in Sydney! 75,000 bricks, 400 kilos and 300 hours!
Occasionally we build something that tops our usual standard of awesome, and occasionally we get to play with really cool stuff, like Dr Who.
I remember as a kid watching the Doctor and his adventures around the galaxy, never for one minute did I think I’d ever get to build a life sized Tardis out of LEGO though!
For the first time ever you are welcome to come along and experience my complete collection of LEGO models, along with those of my colleagues the other LEGO Certified professionals who have each created a unique piece for the show.
Come and join in the fun as there is plenty of hands on activities where ill be getting you to help build some giant LEGO models and masterpieces.
Ive got a stack of new stuff never seen in public before so for your only chance to see them come along!
I’ve had a few LEGO stop motion jobs of late, here’s one I did some work on.

I recently had the chance to take a trip over to New Zealand.
To say it is a beautiful country does not do it justice.
Whilst I was over there i managed to slot in a slot on breakfast TV, promoting the National LEGO building competition.
Here’s a link to the Interview, and here’s a close up of some flowers I gave to the shows hosts.
